As a result, Fan-Sub teams such as 'mistral' and 'DoReMii' are springing up all over the internet in order to meet the needs of drama-crazy fans.

On the other hand in terms of looking at things from the point of view of the fan subber, just doing the translation work and listening to hours of drama clips - it can help you to improve your language skills and knowledge of cultures.
